64 Zoo Lane is an American children's animated cartoon television series created by An Vrombaut. The series was produced by Millimages and Zoo Lane Productions in association with The Itsy Bitsy Entertainment Company, ZDF and ZDF Enterprises. The series first premiered on February 18, 1999 and final ended on May 17, 2000. It aired on Fox Family (During It's Itsy Bitsy Time!) and Noggin in the United States for the first and the second seasons.

Synopsis
* The American series follows a 7 year old human girl named Lucy who lives next door to the Zoo at 64 Zoo Lane. Each night, she is told a story by the animals. The characters include Georgina the Giraffe, Boris the Bear, Giggles and Tickles the Monkeys, Molly the Hippopotamus and Nelson the Elephant. The American program emphasizes friendship and responsibility. At the story's end, friendly morals are discussed, when the bedtime is declared. Georgina the Giraffe deposits Lucy on the bed at the bedroom window (later episodes show Lucy yawning and then sleeping soundly on the bed; in the original episodes she would be lulled to sleep by the storytelling itself). The American program was shown on Fox Family (During It's Itsy Bitsy Time!) and Noggin for learning: exploring the language and vocabulary are enhanced by the use of intonation and expression in the character's voices and the themes of the animals's stories support social and emotional issues, including friendships and helping and caring for the others. The creator of the American TV series, An Vrombaut, also wrote and illustrated 6 64 Zoo Lane picture books based on the stories from the American TV series.
